My Story

Hi, I’m Tabarak Rehman. Here’s my story and the vision behind DreamBridge.

I’m a Chartered Financial Analyst currently working as a distressed credit analyst for a consulting firm in New York. My educational journey began at the age 11 when I left home to spend five formative years at Cadet College Hasan Abdal. This early experience instilled in me resilience and independence. For my undergraduate studies, I moved to Karachi in 2014 to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from IBA Karachi.

After IBA, I started my career as an equity research analyst for a hedge fund. This role was pivotal in familiarizing me with global capital markets and honing my analytical skills. After three years at Vitality Capital, I moved to Boston to pursue a Master’s degree in Business Analytics.
During my time as a graduate student, I noticed something concerning: the number of Pakistani students in the US was surprisingly low, less than 1% of 500,000 international students. I understood the immense value and opportunities that higher education in the US offers, and I felt a strong desire to help more Pakistani students access these opportunities. My goal is simple yet ambitious: to double the number of Pakistani students in the US from 3,500 in 2023 to at least 7,000 by 2025.
At DreamBridge, our mission is to provide comprehensive guidance, resources, and support to help Pakistani students navigate the complex process of applying to US universities, securing the necessary visas, and obtaining funding. Together, we can turn this vision into reality and open doors for thousands of aspiring students from Pakistan.
